Brand Design
My Approach
Branding starts in the mind. Before any design work, I focus on defining where the brand should sit in the consumer’s head—what it represents, what it stands for, and the energy it should emit. Strong branding isn’t just about looking good; it’s about owning a unique space and making a lasting impression.
From there, I dive into exploration—brainstorming logos, typography, and visual language while researching the landscape. How does this brand stand out? What gaps exist in the market? This phase is about throwing ideas at the wall, refining what sticks, and shaping a direction that feels both fresh and intentional.
Once the strongest concepts emerge, I refine and tighten. Logos become sharper, color schemes more intentional, and the overall identity more cohesive. But branding isn’t just visuals—it’s voice, mission, and storytelling. A brand should feel as strong as it looks.
Execution isn’t the finish line—it’s the launchpad. Testing and iteration ensure the design holds up across real-world applications, from social to merch to packaging. The final product isn’t just a logo—it’s a fully realized brand with a creative strategy built for impact and longevity.
With Polo and Starlight, I ideated, created, and refined the brand design aspects from scratch. Take a look below at my brand design portfolio.
